    Shopping at Farmers’ Markets

    Try to make the farmers’ market your last stop before going home in order to maintain peak food quality and safety. If aren’t going directly home, bring a cooler with cold packs or ice to keep perishable items cool. Place delicate produce, like leafy greens, on top of cold packs.
